A wonderful, richly scented pot pourri, which as its name suggests has roses at its heart. Other ingredients include lavender, cinnamon, tonka beans and allspice, whilst orris root acts as a fixative and adds to the overall perfume. Keep covered when not in use. I first made this recipe over thirty years ago and a bowl of that first mix still retains its scent, a well made pot pourri should be capable of lasting for fifty years. It contains no artificial preservatives and is made by hand in small batches. Each brown paper bag contains one and a half ounces of pot pourri and comes with a hand written label.
