I wish I'd had a posy of violets to hand when photographing this little milk jug, they would have looked so pretty in it. It carries the Royal Albert Crown China mark on its base and dates from around 1917, very Downton Abbey! It's in excellent condition, lovely fluted white porcelain and bright gold gilding, and stands 11cm high.
