The Robin and The Wren Christmas Jug

The perfect small jug for the festive season; the wren to celebrate the Old Year and the robin to celebrate the New.  Judging by the style of the hand painted decoration, I think it's from the 1850s; there is a maker's mark on the base but I can't find the manufacturer.  It is in excellent condition, no chips or cracks, and the paintwork and gilding are fresh and clear. It stands 87mm high and is 75mm diameter at its widest point.
